Palitana City - Jain Temples
Palitana is a religious Jain city located in the district of Bhavnagar in Gujarat, India. The city is a major pilgrimage center for Jains. The temples in the city are regarded the most sacred pilgrimage place by the Jain community. About 1,300 temples made of marble were built in the site for more than 900 years.
