(CHAKRA) Indian National Congress has just concluded their so called Annual orgy of eat drink and be merry marriage ceremony, they called it a “Chintan (Reflection) Shivir (Camp)” at Jaipur, Rajasthan on 20 January 2013. The conclusion of business gave an impression that it was more of two things; one a crowning ceremony of the (first) dynasty of post independence India’s heir apparent Mr Rahul Gandhi aka Raul Vinci. Second was a grim show with the remarks of Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde, Home Minister of India relating Hindu Terrorism a prime concern. With all this pompous luxurious dinning and meeting and poor deliberation on the burning issues facing the common people, it seemed more like “Chinta (anxiety) cum Chita (funeral pyre) Shivir”.
I think these two words could be better suited to express the gala gathering. Chinta is for fast dwindling votebank especially the traditional Muslim population who still harbours their hate for Hindus and can be very easily polarised in the caste ridden society as exclaimed by Justice Markandey Katju, The Chief of the Press Council of India and Ex Justice, Supreme Court of India. TheIndian Express reported: “90 per cent of people vote on caste lines instead of assessing a candidate’s merit, … today said, claiming it allows people with criminal background to get elected.”
It is very pertinent in the spectrum of events of communal violence starting soon after 1947, becoming acute following dissipation of USSR since 1989 in Afghanistan war. All those highly trained guerrilla Islamic fighters trained in Pakistan and Afghanistan were rerouted to Kashmir initially and India subsequently to engage them away from their hinterland. America’s 9/11 and India’s one 9/11 (26/11) are a grim reminder, Shinde’s memory of his geriatric cerebrum is not helping in calibrating his sensitive phrase as Home Minister. 90% of riots were initiated by Muslims in India but Congress of Nehru shielded them for votebank. Lately its size has worsened due to import of militants from across the border. Islam has an inbuilt ideology for violence aggression, which is very well documented by scholars like Will Durant (The Magnitude of Muslim Atrocities) and others.
Indian politicians either do not bother or are ill informed on the historical and political developments as was exhibited by Man Mohan Singh in Sharmail Sheikh when he got carried away on Balochistan issue Vis a Vis Kashmir. In one study in US had said, “The Truth on Kashmir and Terrorism in India: India has been the most terrorized country in the world –US State Department Report on Terrorism and they further captioned it cryptically: India Is an Extraordinary Democracy.
Let us first analyse the speeches by these two leaders only.
Shinde is known for his lose tongue. Earlier he had said to Ms Jaya Bacchan that it is not a film, which bruised his speaking credibility, only to chew his words later. Now he has stirred rabbles by uttering that BJP and RSS run training camps to train Hindu terrorists. How audacious and wickedly impetuous?
Firstpost reported, *“…We are taking steps against injustice towards minorities as also against infiltration. But in the midst of all this we have got an investigation report that be it the RSS or the BJP, their training camps are promoting Hindu terrorism,’’ said Shinde.*
This is uncalled for impromptu speech, it exhibits his intellectual bankruptcy. He is heading a most powerful and a sensitive portfolio of Home Ministry of nation. He should have realised the wider impact of his cheap remarks. It has serious international implications, especially when India is facing serious threats from across her borders. Not long ago on 8 January 2013, India has locked horns with Pakistan on the brutal gruesome murders and beheading of two Indian soldiers on the Line of Control in Jammu against the Geneva Convention, derailing the much arduous peace process between the two countries. India is a constant victim of extremist violence arising from Pakistan and Bangladesh. Kashmir insurgency is a daily menace. It was not exceptional to see the Pakistani Army trying to push their Islamist terrorists bred in the Muridke factory of Lashkar-e Toiba run by Hafiz Saeed to cause violence and loss of life and property.
It gave a much sought for requiem to the acclaimed international terrorist wanted for multitudes of Islamic violence conducted in India and other countries, Lashkar-e Toiba chief Hafiz Saeed poignantly asked as reported by oneindia, “Shinde’s shame: Saeed wants India declared terrorist state, reported by Oneindia news”. It continued:
“…There cannot be more damning indictment of a home minister when an international terrorist (Hafiz Saeed) takes refuge under him and wants India to be declared as terrorist state. Lashkar-e-Taiba founder and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed today sought to exploit Shinde’s remarks against RSS and BJP saying Indian “propaganda” against Pakistanis of spreading terror now stood “exposed”. Unfortunately this has been maddeningly reported in the press incessantly. Please follow some of the links here:
The Hindu, Times of India (TOI), TOI 2, 1, The Indian Express, IBNLive, the list is endless and rightly so.
Let us examine some more love of Hafiz Saeed for Hindu Baniya, “He stressed that India had always been enemy number one of Pakistan and would continue to do so for all times because the mean mentality of Hindu banya would never change.” The Nation, from Pakistan. I hope Shinde Inc is listening.
Shinde soon after resuming charge from P Chidambaram on 31 July 2012 had faced the Assam communal riots involving Bangladesh Muslim infiltration creating unrest. He had not been a very successful Minister in his earlier portfolio as Power Minister.
“In his very first speech — on Assam violence on Wednesday — while referring to Bodoland Territorial Area District, he said terrorist in place of territorial.
“If untoward situation arises, the government will not dare to take action so that nothing happens,” was the next gem from the minister.
Thursday’s gaffe came during his reply to the debate on the situation in Assam. Bachchan interrupted him, saying he had not responded to specific queries raised by members.
“This is a serious matter. It is not a subject of a film,” Shinde shot back, triggering a storm in the House.” Hindustan Times had reported on 9 August 2012 from Delhi. It led to objectionable uproar in the House forcing him to apologise. Hindustan Times added further:
Sensing the mood of the House, Shinde said, “If she is hurt by my comments, I apologise for that. She is my sister. I know the entire Bachchan family for which I have great respect.”
Now coming back to the Crowned Prince Rahul Gandhi, whose coronation ceremony was complete in Jaipur making him official Vice President of the ailing raged 125 Years old(1884) Congress Party. It forms the largest constituent party of the ruling conglomerate of UPA II ridden in scams and corruption, rising inflation, falling foreign reserves and increasing Islamic fundamentalist violence, Reported, “The Dynastic torch passes to Rahul Gandhi in India” and the rest.
India had its first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru after a dubious manipulative controversy presided by our eponymous Father of The Nation – Mahatma Gandhi. It was the grace of Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel to recede on the politically incorrect advice by Gandhi. Independent India was unified into a single state nation by abolishing about 565 scattered small independent ruling dynasties with their own mighty defences; only to establish a one dynasty rule. To this point I have to concede that Nehru was highly successful, if the other areas remain debateable.
Who can doubt the much hyped and drummed up rise of the fifth generation of this Kingly Nehru-Gandhi dynasty, which pales even the residues of Monarchies in current Europe.
Hence our much celebrated media icon heir uncrowned Prince, fifth ladder Rahul Gandhi became the Crowned Prince in succession –Mother Sonia Gandhi (ruling without responsibility but with highest power pivot in silent mode), father Rajiv Gandhi died in a yet to be proved controversy, grandmother Ms Indira Priyadarshini Gandhi – killed by her own bodyguards, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, who is said to have died of ruptured thoracic Aorta Aneurysm, supposed to be caused by tertiary syphilis.
Perusing the first speech after the crowning glory, it is apparent that it was composed more on the rhetorics of sentiment rousing dynasty saga than addressing the real issues facing the hapless majority people in the country.
“BBC reported: Mr Gandhi railed against the “gross” centralisation of political power by the elites, and the lack of meritocracy in politics and public systems. “It doesn’t matter how much wisdom you have. If you don’t have position, you have nothing. That’s the tragedy of India,” he said.
Few will disagree: elitism, nepotism and deeply entrenched hierarchies bedevil India’s progress, and politics is no exception.
Mr Gandhi, who at 42 is youthful by India’s geriatric political standards, also spoke about the growing disconnect between India’s youth and the political class. He talked about their abhorrence for an increasingly arrogant political class. Exclusion, he said rightly, is at the root of most of India’s problems.”
Business Standard sarcastically prodded in its caption: Rahul Gandhi’s speech: Poignant or ‘lacking in content’? On Monday, 21 January 2013.
“The vision he has tried to show, that we have to bring change. Where was he when people were holding massive protests against corruption when Anna Hazare was there in New Delhi, and when there were tens of thousands protesting against the gang-rape?… He never once came out and addressed the people,” Sharma noted.
In an emotional speech in Jaipur, Rahul Gandhi said: “The Congress party is my life. The people of India are now my life. And I will fight for the people of India and for this party.”
“As a boy I loved to play badminton because it gave me balance in a complicated world. I was taught by two policemen who protected my grandmother and were my friends. They killed my grandmother and took way the balance…In the evening I saw my father address the nation. He was terrified of what lay ahead of him. But I saw a glimmer of hope. That hope has brought India where it is today.”
Firstpost with a similar head added: Rahul Gandhi in his first speech as Congress vice president touched an emotional chord among many with references to his mother, party chief Sonia Gandhi, and his father and grandmother, and his frank critique of the party’s functioning and of the ills of the “system”, but many others wonder if there was any real substance in what he spoke.
The 1,200 strong gathering of Congress leaders and activists at the Birla Auditorium in Jaipur erupted in hurrahs and some leaders were seen wiping away tears after Gandhi’s’ speech.
“I think his speech was not as a politician…, His references to how his mother cried etc. were meant to gain sympathy… But I did not find much substance in his speech,” Gagan Sharma, a professional in his 30s, told IANS.”
He dwelt mostly on an emotional chord and enumerating the deficiencies of present UPA II elites and the expectations of the younger generations, a polemical record, which is very evident. It is all very well known but his crowning glory speech is least concerned with the economic hardships, extremist violence, the recent gangrape in Delhi as well as the rest of country had nothing to console the people. Rising inflation is breaking the backbone daily but he has been working for last eight years as Youth leader, he said that he has learnt a lot during these years, “He neither spelt out his knowledge nor the remedy for whatever little he may have learnt from the media savvy focus”. He never gave any interviews to the media, except showing his course bearded face entering the huts, boarding a general compartment in a train etc. All these has been good to attract publicity stunts but had hardly addressed the issues facing the masses. Wherever he visited, nothing has changed, making his visits a disaster and irrelevant. Recent UP and Gujarat polls showed his utter failure bitterly. His mother was quick to quip, “It was an organisational failure that led to UP disaster”. Failures are thrust on the organisation but success must be presumed to coronate. Who is heading the organisation – his own mother Ms Sonia Gandhi”? It seemed deficient in diligence.
Akabaruddin Owaisi Vis a Vis Hafiz Saeed of India:
A glimpse of the hate speech:
On December 24, 2012, Owaisi addressed a rally of twenty to twenty-five thousand people in the Nirmal town of Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh. In his two-hour long speech, Owaisi made multiple comments against Hindus, Hindu deities, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishva Hindu Parishad, Bharatiya Janata Party, Narendra Modi, India and United States of America. In his speech, Owaisi said that the 250 million Indian Muslims needed only 15 minutes without the police to show one billion Hindus who is more powerful. Owaisi referred to the Hindus in a derogatory manner and the Indian police as the “impotent army”. He said that not even one crore impotent men can together father one child. He said that these people (Hindus) cannot face the Muslims, and whenever the Muslims start dominating the Hindus, the impotent army (police) intervenes. Owaisi said that “we (Muslims) will not let you (India or Hindus) live peacefully,” and added that the Muslims could “teach the rest of the country a lesson”.
Owaisi referred to Ajmal Amir Kasab, one of the Pakistani militants of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, as a “child”, and compared him with Narendra Modi. He asked if Kasab was hanged then why is Modi not hanged, and said that the reason was only because Kasab was a Pakistani and Modi is Indian. He said that if the Muslims of India united like the Muslims of Andhra Pradesh, Narendra Modi would soon be hanged.”
Akabaruddin making his hate speech, shown in video reported by . Anyone knowing Hindi and Urdu is requested to kindly peruse this venomous speech which is a little long but worth it for his real face.
“Hyderabad, Jan 22: Political scenario in Hyderabad might be worsened with the news that a court in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, Jan 22 extended judicial custody of the legislator of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) – Akbaruddin Owaisi. Akbaruddin’s judicial custody has been extended till Feb 5 over a hate speech case. After the judgement of the Nirmal court, police brought him back to Adilabad jail.
Hyderabad and some other parts of Andhra Pradesh witnessed a complete shutdown on Tuesday following the arrest of MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi regarding a 2005 protest case. Shops, business houses and educational institutes remained shut in the old city and other Muslim-dominated areas in the state capital. The government road transport corporation suspended most of its bus services while auto-rickshaws also remained off the roads.”
Asabuddin Owaisi – another snake in the backyard of secular Congress and UPA II:
“MIM supremo and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi surrendered before a local court in Sangareddy in Medak district – not more than 25 kms from the state capital – on Monday morning in connection with a case of rioting and other charges registered in 2005.
Named as accused number one in the case, Asaduddin was remanded in judicial custody till February 2 by special judicial first class magistrate Maruti Devi and lodged in the district jail at Sangareddy. A bail application moved by the MP is slated to be heard on Tuesday. His younger brother Akbaruddin Owaisi is accused number two in the case and has already been produced before the magistrate here on a prisoner transit warrant by the Nirmal police in Adilabad where he is in judicial custody. A non-bailable warrant had been pending against the duo but with the MIM part of the ruling UPA at the Centre, the police had not bothered to execute it.”
I only hope that the reverent Sushil Shinde has not condoned these two Hafiz Saeeds of India before claiming Hindu terrorists. Hindus have the right to self protection and reach out to defend themselves if and when their survival is threatened in their own home. Hindus have no organised terrorists exported out in the name of jihad and fatwas Vis a Via Islamic terrorists, Shinde might know it. Will his official spokespersons stop deifying Osama as Osamaji and Hafiz Saeed as Hafiz Saeed Saheb?
Before I conclude, I must remind the current secular/communal UPA II, “Why there are no communal riots in Pakistan and Bangladesh”? Read this interesting post for a little insight.
