Required materials
- Completed scholarship application form
- Official high school transcript
- Proof of financial need — for example, a recent federal tax return (Form 1040) or evidence of eligibility for a Free/Reduced Lunch program
- Two letters of recommendation from teachers, school counselors, or academic advisors
- A typed, two-page essay covering: personal and academic accomplishments, academic and career plans, past and intended community engagement, and the applicant’s specific financial need
Essays should be clear and focused; evaluators will look for concrete examples of community impact and realistic plans for further education.
