Picture of the Week: Dakshinamurti Bhagwan

(CHAKRA) Here we have Dakshinamurti Bhagwan, the youthful form of Lord Shiva, teaching Brahma Vidya (the essence of the Vedas) to the 4 Rishis seated in front of him. All knowledge originates from Bhagwan; the Rishis serve as conduits, and this wisdom is passed on to us through the generations. This picture depicts the Vedic teaching tradition that has existeded from time immemorial.
