Other blogs we found insightful and interesting are:
American Turban
Martial Art Gatka
Guru Nanakji was born at a time when in India, the Muslim invaders were creating a lot of atrocities on the Hindus. Nanakji grew up amidst these social disaffections on Hindus besides as a spiritual leader. But as far as my impression goes that like Nanakji, who was born in Hindu family and having seen these Islamic tortures on his community; grew up as a spiritual leader to mobilise the masses. Perhaps he led his group in a tacit manner to build up the society mentally to face the Islamic crusaders. This led to Guru Arjan Deoji to his martyrdom and ultimately to Guru Gobind Singhji to form his Khalsa Panth of Sikhism.
To conclude my point, the root of Sikhism lies in the disaffection of the then Hindu community against the Muslim invaders and their atrocities. Sikhism rose up as a savior of Hindus in those difficult times.
Some of these websites especially Sikhiwiki carry anti hindu propaganda. The site that should be promoted on true sikhism should be
