Standing up against Corruption is considered a Crime by the Congress Government
Corruption and Crime we have been told is ‘religionless’. But is it really? One would really have to ponder this today because it seems like the biggest criminals who are now obsessively hunted down by the Indian media are not individuals and political parties associated with the recent scams and crimes against India, but rather two very devout “Hindu” gurus- Sri Sathya Sai Baba and Baba Ramdev.
THEIR CRIME:
1) They stand against corruption
2) They uplift the downtrodden of India
3) They provide free services and basic necessities- free water, free education, free health care, etc. to millions of poor.
4) They preserve, protect and propagate the culture and spiritual ethos of India.
5) They provide support and guidance to millions of people
THEIR PUNISHMENT:
1) Maligning their image and stripping their dignity
2) Debasement of all the work they have done so far for India
3) Launching vicious intellectual as well as physical attacks on them and their followers (when they’re asleep for instance)
4) Rendering them slander and defamation on all news channels
Sathya Sai Baba and Ramdev are then perhaps the biggest ‘saffron criminals’ of India because they come from the most traditional and orthodox Hindu backgrounds and have become popular in a land where secularism and western ideals are now worshipped and cherished more than one’s own true cultural identity, especially in the Indian media which tries to portray itself as objective, secular and modern and presents the Hindu gurus as backward and corrupt.
Founder of FACT India, Francois Gautier stated- “Nowadays, the greatest adversaries of an ‘Indianised and spiritualised education’ are the descendents of the ‘Brown Sahibs’- the ‘secular’ politicians, the journalists, the top bureaucrats, in fact the whole westernised cream of India. And what is even more paradoxical, is that most of them are Hindus! It is they, who upon getting independence, have denied India its true identity and borrowed blindly from the British education system, without trying to adapt it to the unique Indian mentality and psychology… And what India is getting from this education is a youth which apes the West… They will grow-up like millions of other western clones in the developing world, who wear a tie, read the New York Times and swear by liberalism and secularism to save their countries from doom. In time, they will reach elevated positions and write books and articles which make fun of India, they will preside human-right committees, be “secular” high bureaucrats who take the wrong decisions and generally do tremendous harm to India, because it has been programmed in their genes to always run down their own country. In a gist, they will be the ones who are always looking at the West for approval and forever perceive India through the western prism.”
This form of mental slavery emphasized by Gautier is exactly the problem today where the Indian media with its talentless and intellectually impotent breed of journalists now debases Hindu gurus, denigrates Hindu spirituality and indirectly belittles Hinduism and India as a whole. The TV debates they launch are not very different from a collective gathering of neighbours who meet to gossip, discuss their brainless opinions and spread more rumours and falsehood. Recently, CNN IBN (India) aired a show called the “God Industry”, as usual questioning the Hindu gurus- Sathya Sai Baba and Baba Ramdev on the “wealth they have accumulated”. Sagarika Ghose the anchor of the show first provided a limited and one-sided definition of spirituality linking it merely with ‘renunciation of the world’ (which in fact is not the accurate or holistic Hindu worldview) and then asked why these Gurus aren’t renouncing the world but rather enjoying the wealth. She displayed her ignorance of Hindu Dharma firstly by presenting it in a non-hindu template and then went on to judge them based on what? -Her expertise on Hinduism, Hindu Gurus and corruption of course. And better yet, no one specifically asked what the Gurus did with all the wealth that the devotees gave them. How could they ask? It might have led them to find out that Baba Ramdev and Sathya Sai Baba secretly spent all that money on Armani suits, on lavish meals, on extravagant parties, stylish cars, gigantic houses and other business investments that served their personal gain. Perhaps this Saffron Baba duo deserves the biased treatment meted out to them then. After all they can’t be expected to be as pure and infallible as the secular journalists who question them and the corruption-free government that condemns them.
Does Hinduism say that a Guru should renounce the world and walk away from his duties towards society, especially when he can spiritually guide people? Does Hinduism say that possessing money is criminal especially when that money is being used for the betterment of society? Were spiritual gurus like Dronacharya, Chanakya and Samarth Ramdas wrong for participating in the affairs of the state and advancing their nation? If Hinduism doesn’t preach such impractical ideals then what gives authority to the Indian media to suddenly become the expert jury on such matters, that passes judgment on these individuals who have actually served the society in tremendous ways?
We can safely now say that the only thing that the media and journalists have succeeded in exposing is “themselves”. For that we must thank them immensely for the ignorant masses would never have become aware of all the falsehood and lies that is being fed to them every day by this new breed of english-educated ignoramuses.
Moreover, this high-flying elite cult of secular journalists who don’t give news but give views have probably never done anything themselves for the down-trodden that they could ever boast of. Or perhaps the hindu-voice that has become more mobilized and consolidated under Ramdev and Sathya Sai now needs to be shut down by them lest it unleashes more saffron criminals on the society

What India need now is somebody who removes shirts and pants and gives stage shows, somebody who want to be naked when a game wins, somebody who involves in corruption since their political life starts etc etc..
When I am in school I have been told by my parents that follow sri sathya sai. I didn’t ask why because it was not that age to question my parents.
But when I am at 20+ and good enough to think what is good and what is wrong and have capable of understanding what I am doing, I never thought of asking my parents that why should I follow sri sathya sai.
The answer was clear to me i.e. I am following god not a religion.
Actions are clear to me i.e service to human is service to god.
In my 30 years of life no sathya sai organization aske a single penny for srevice. I have seen and involved in many of them.
I have distributed food and cloths with my hand every month by representing sathay sai organization.
Nobody asked something to donate. but magically when the day comes everything used to get arranged including transportation to roam around town or city to distribute
free food directly to poor.
This whole thing is possible because of sai only.
Now come to media and internet. Media is kind of daily shit. We go to toilet everyday and we all know what we do there.
And 90% of population does the same. In the same way media takes one news and uses their corrupted brains and shits.
Now come to internet which is like loose motions floats for every 30 min till it lasts.
So media and internet is for entertinement and not for somebody to seriously look into.
In the same way whaterver roumours by media and internet is to show how much bad they can smell.
My question to all is who told rama is god , krishna is god , jesus is god , allah is god , shirdi sai is god. Did your father
saw them ??
why dont you say whatever they have created is magic and any magician can do that.

How can you say that two people who have so many foreign followers and devotees are “orthodox Hindu”? In fact, Sathya Sai Baba did not restrict his devotees to any religion. Muslims, Christians, Jews, and Buddhists also prayed to him and worshipped him. Then, where does the question of Hindu orthodoxy come in?
His logo itself had the symbols of all religions. The giant pillar in front of his room was dedicated to all religions. His Trust operates in all countries around the world. In fact, V Srinivasan, the Trustee clearly said yesterday that the Sathya Sai Trust was NOT a religious trust, but a public charitable trust – that is why it received so many exemptions from the Indian and Andhra government.
Why then this aggressive, combative attitude to brand its leader as an “orthodox Hindu?”
Indian media of today and the ruling congress party are anti-hindu. The media seem to report everything negative when it comes to the Hindu faith and any person connected. We must vote congress out and rid this country of a foreign-christian italian fake gadhi, sonia gandhi. The worst that could happen is if Rahul gandhi were to be prime minister. Baba Ramdev and the late Sathya Sai Baba have done no wrong, they spread spirituality and charitable work. We should support ramdev and hazara for their causes. Jai Hind.
“Religion” , “hindu” , “christian” words are used my so called illiterate media and news. What is clear to a sai devotee is at swamy, there is no religion. I celebrated dashra in puttaparthi. Followed by many christians celebrated christmas in puttaparti and so as Ramzan. Rather being a sathya sai devotees, many hindu families starts praying from morning at 4 am to till evening.
swamy has no differentiation between these religious things and he taught the same. God example is right now I am holding a book : “words of jesus christ and sathya sai baba” wirtten by a christian but a swamy devotee. then who is sai ? reincarnation of jesus to this author or rama or krishna to me as i am hindu.

In fact, I just now checked – two of the Sathya Sai Trust Trustees are themselves Non-Hindus and foreigners – Isaac Tigrett and Michael Goldstein. It is clearly reported in Outlook magazine and other press reports.
Also, Sathya Sai Baba mostly only gave private interviews to foreigners and non-Hindus from overseas international groups – Like Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Yogananda, Nityananda, and other several other foreigner-dependent Babas and Gurujis. All his cars were foreign made like BMW or Jaguar. How is this “orthodox Hindu?”
All of Sathya Sai Baba office bearers and students only wore pant-shirt. No one wore dhoti, or was forced to do “sandhya” or “mantra or dhyana or yoga” – Sathya Sai Baba clearly said he needed no “Mantra-Tantra-Yantra”, only seva – in fact, his students were all taught western subjects like Business Management and Physics and English Literature, Botany, and History. How is all this “Orthodox Hindu”?
How is having a planetarium and sports stadium and holding a “World Cup” International Cricket Match in Puttaparthi with a 20 kg Gold Trophy, “orthodox Hindu”?
Baba Ramdev charges maximum “darshan” fees from foreign devotees, and has land in Scotland – how is that “orthodox Hindu?” In fact, according to orthodox Hinduism, one should not even leave the boundaries of the country, otherwise one will get polluted.
These are only some of my doubts regarding these two – I have many more, like several normal Hindus in India.

Being a hindu are we providing food to a poor person?
Being a Muslim are we providing a free hospital service to poor ?
Being a christian are we providing a help to a human being who is in need ?
But being a sri sathya sai devotee, I feel proud rather millions of devotees feel proud that at least one of above is doing whole heatedly.
This makes difference being a sathya sai devotee rather being a Hindu or anything.
There are 9 orphan people getting “very good” ( repeating “very good”) support just at once sai center.
They have adopted by sai center by local devotees at age or 3 years and providing food, education etc.. Today there is 1 lack fixed deposit on each orphan’s name. This is separate tailor , washing machine to they grow in better form. This is just by donations.
Who are donors here ? do you think people who donated are rich ? No. All those are normal people. somebody is school teacher, one is bus conductor , one does daily business. There is no politician or millionaire involved. All are just normal sai devotees.
“Sankalpa Balam” (dedication to the good work to do) is what swamy says. If “sankalpa balam” towards doing good things are there then no body can stop them.
Now a days elder or younger, rich or poor everybody criticizes. Their voice barks against people does good, who is calm.

Stop fighting over things you have no control over. Both of you are passionate about what you belive in – it is obvious from your conversation. There is tremendous energy in both of you. Channel it into good action, helping people around you, doing things that will bring a smile of joy on a face that is lined by hardship… That is by far better than wasting your energies here. Actions speak louder than words. “Be good, see good, do good, this is the way to God” said Baba. One can see no specific religious overtones in this simple yet profound statement.
Arjun – you believe that Sai Baba is doing good to society and your heart told you to follow Him. Then follow Him… no matter what anyone else says. History stands testimony to the fact – the free university, hospitals, water projects, thousands of samithis, and millions of devotees… the work will go on. Vikram – your argument is that he is not an orthodox hindu but secular in his outlook.If you took the time to read Sai Literature you will find that he has based all his teachings on sanatana Dharma which over time our leaders have branded hinduism. Sanatana Dharma is not limited to any religion. Yes. Sai Baba was born a “hindu” but his message is universal. Please read some of Sai literature – the pdfs are available for free on the sri sathya sai books and publications website. This will broaden your outlook. And please! just a suggestion – do not go by the outlook magazine. All of us are aware of the political affiliations of various sections of the media.
As an American, it is very disturbing to me that so many Indian journalists cannot see how destructive their unethical behavior is to their country by feeding into racist and anti-religious propaganda. Remember the quote, “I have found the enemy and the enemy is….”?

This is a really good piece of writing. I’m an anglo Canadian, but I’ve been disturbed — actually angered — for a long time about the obvious attempts to denigrate Hinduism by Indians themselves. These are not the Indians I met during my two trips to India, but an elite group of westernized, sycophantic intellectuals who have neither self-respect nor respect for the extraordinary philosophical and spiritual foundations of Indian culture and civilization. It is sad that the Indian media has taken a stance to bring about false reporting and spread rumours about two of the most generous, caring and loving souls. Sathya Sai Baba is and will always remain a Purna Avathar in the hearts of His devotees throughout the world. No amount of false reporting will change the good and divine activities undertaken by Bhagawan Shri Sathya Sai Baba. No human being on earth irrespective of his wealth has undertaken to complete such major selfless projects to serve fellow beings for free. India has multi billionares who claim to have multi storey buildings as their homes and rank among the top Five Richest men in the world yet none can do what Bhagawan Shri Sathya Sai Baba has done to date. Government has failed to delvier running water to places like Chennai and Baba has made irt possible without any funding from Government. What has the media done to ellevaite poverty and suffering amongst it’s customers? What has the Indian Govrnment done to provide free education, health care and shelter to the needy? I was sitting in the office one lovely summers day = all the aircraft had gone flying , I had no idea what the universe was going to teach me as a Lesson
I heard footsteps echoing thru the hangar and saw Eric our part time builder dashing around the aircraft in the Hangar to come into our office.
A few seconds later he was standing in front of me.
He looked at me and I looked at him
He then said ”Amarjit Singh I want to end it all I am tired of life. I have had enough I don’t want to live any more!”
I was shocked Eric is one of the nicest man you will ever meet.
He is compassion in itself.
What’s’ wrong I wondered , ‘I spoke ”Eric .what is wrong why are you upset?”
Sai Baba suddenly appeared over Eric, waving his hand and I was shown a Huge sword driven deep into his shoulder..
I then understood what had happened to Eric.
I asked Eric” Did you quarrel with anyone.”
He looked at me and said ”Yes, strong words were spoken a few days ago”
Eric had been involved in an argument.The other person was arguing very strongly with Eric, became very angry and lashed out at Eric with the way he defended himself in one of his previous life’s when he was a master swordsman.
Such was his anger that he thru his Super conscious mind linked into his previous life and his words turned into a sword and he stuck this deep into Eric. this sword was now sending waves of negative energy into his bodies!
I said ” Eric you have a sword stuck in your shoulder.
Eric” what are you waiting for remove it then”
So we both asked and gave forgiveness to all the parties concerned and also the 5 elements where they had the quarrel had taken place as even the elements, the earth air etc record and are traumatized by any negativity!
Forgiveness given and asked we asked Sai Baba to remove this sword.
We saw it being pulled out all bloody. We asked this trauma to be healed and Eric’s bodies to be healed, I saw the angels working on Eric and blessing him with their Lovely Angelic wings waving around him!
A few days later Eric rang me and said all his suicidal thoughts had disappeared when the sword left him.

But with the power and potential of words also comes much Power & responsibility, especially when you have raised your God head by Meditation or other inner work..
The same words that can be used to gently persuade and help others well-being can also be used to manipulate and tear others down to get our own way. Words can be used to wound people in places that no sword can penetrate. A sword will cut through flesh, but words can cut through the heart. We’ve all felt the cutting of the heart that happens when people who we consider trustworthy say things that should never be said. Though they do not harm us physically, you can feel the pain even from a distance miles away.
With the same mouth, you have the ability to speak either blessings or curses. At first glance, you may think this point is trivial, but how many times have you been reluctant or insecure because of what someone else said about you? How many times have you been discouraged because others did not believe in you? How many of us don’t feel good about ourselves because of the hurtful things that someone said to us?
Words have the power to either bless you or curse you.
The hurtful words continue to haunt us and every time we hear them or remember them, it cuts us again, like a fresh wound, and it never heals properly. And these wounds will continue to hurt us and we will feel victimized until the power of those words are broken.
And I’ll tell you that without the grace of God, it is impossible.
There is still hope. Though we can’t change how others have affected us and though we can’t change how others use and manipulate words, we can resolve to use our words to bring healing and encouragement.
It is human nature to lash back and return the treatment we receive from others. And if we don’t lash back at the person who offended us, we often lash back at those close to us, that we hold dear to our hearts. We don’t mean to hurt them, but we end up hurting them because we ourselves are hurting.
And again, without the grace of God, without specifically asking God to give you this grace to forgive and not letting those words affect you, you will not be able to stop the cycle of receiving and lashing out in pain.

When we resolve to take the high road and use our words to build others up, even though we are unfairly treated, we will be blessed and find favour with both God and men. It may not happen immediately and it may not happen when we want it and when it’s most convenient for us, but God promises that he who seeks good finds goodwill. When we search for evil, or seek to return the favour, God promises that evil will come back to you.
God’s way is hard because it is unnatural and goes against everything that you see in this world. But I can’t imagine trying to live any other way. If we don’t live according to God’s way, then according to whose ways are we living? God is good, kind, loving, merciful, and gentle with us. Who are you listening to and what are they like? What becomes of their ways and their lifestyle? Please consider deeply whose advice you are listening to and what kinds of things will come of that advice.

All the sensible Indians are disgusted by increasing corruption and started dreaming about rebuilding the nation by making it corruption free. Even in this situation, instead of promoting or facilitating the idea of non-corruption, Media is finding every bit of information to show that the Leaders are tainted; as if not just the those civil society Leaders are questionable but the whole idea of building a better country and to gain dignity internationally is totally nonsense!
Any Citizen can (and should) raise voice against injustice. It doesn’t matter whether that person is a monk, a God-man or a street beggar. Having regards and respect for one’s own country is not a type of job meant for only few citizens. So, it is absolutely baseless to question Ramdev “why a Yoga Guru is having political agendas?” In India, plenty of evidence is present where ancient saints were involved in politics and instructed Kings regarding political matters. So, Ramdev has not done anything new.
In democracy, nobody is above the law. Govt’s job is to prosecute anybody who did something illegally. However, now-a-days only thing we see is that, ministers are very fund of abusing verbally, the respected saints, who raised their voice against injustice! Why is it so? If people like Ramdev (and Sai Baba) are corrupt, why they are not behind the bars? If govt is incapable to do this then this shows that either its ministers are liars or the whole judiciary system is impotent.

dear all after reading all the views, i found that we have totally deviated from what you were asked to read. people always differ on many issues and there is no exemption with regard to FAITH. basically faith and trust although are two sides of a coin, we focus more on one side only.
it is not necessary to have a useless debate on personal abuse. a true devotee means, absorbing all the humiliations and not aiming back on any one. here, the point is that a large number of people of more than 150 countries have an enormous love and faith on Satya Sai Baba, this is ridiculous to abuse any one who have been associated withe the affection shown by Sri Satya Sai Baba.
in general, on many counts, we must have seen or encountered that the children abuse their parents on various grounds. does this mean are they not of one family? so, here is the critical time, with our innocence or ignorance feeding the ruthless or idiotic press with news what they have been looking for.

Finally, someone had the guts to spill in one article what innumerable silent, soft natured, decent & cultured people around the world painfully and strongly felt within the depths of their hearts as gross injustice and sacrilege unraveled before their eyes and ears due to the barbaric ritualism of the uncouth media vultures who were hell bent and contemptuous in their poisonous efforts to vitiate a very sacred domain and a very noble and revered personality.
The media is the estate of Satan which holds nothing sacred or divine. They are impudent with their thoughts and words and they have scant respect for humane sentiments of the silent majority of our country. They also conveniently bury cock and bull stories that were reported in a hurry but turned out to be a hallucination. All this hypocrisy is conducted in the name of reporting the very Truth they seek to distort for viewing pleasure. They don’t believe in the fundamental human values of Sathya, Dharma, Prema, Shanti, Ahimsa and only believe in money and mammon. It’s all business for them, an enterprise for churning out sensationalism since they believe that the animal spirits in us desire it. According to media psychos, people are merely electrochemical automatons who can be stimulated with sharp and inciting sounds & sights and like Pavlov dogs will salivate over their garbage as they ring their breaking news alarm bells. Their dharma is such that they will film someone getting beaten black and blue from close quarters to get the best angle but will not think of intervening the show to help.
Sai Baba who referred to Television as Tel Visham (Telepoision) did not give TV interviews or interviews to print media for publicity of any kind. He did not engage in any fund raising activities either and only accepted voluntary donations without publicity. Nobody can name even one newspaper that has printed ads from his organizations asking for money. He did not participate in political rallies and support one party or the other. He did not take up lost political causes or whip up religious sentiments and divide people. He only engaged in the philosophy of unity of all mankind and service to the poor and needy. Whats with this media vitriol towards him and towards his organization ? The money and gold was donated and gifted to him by his ardent devotees as an offering in spiritual context when one meets their lord or deity. He was considered a God in human form and not as a seer, sage or sanyasi who are bound by austerity. His numerous service and charitable activities have earned the gratitude of poor people in villages who are unlettered and unlikely to acknowledge in internet forums. One just has to go to his super specialty hospitals or educational institutions or even visit villages where his water project has quenched their thirst to glimpse the enormous impact he has had on millions of people. He also inspired several people cutting across generational lines, national boundaries and religions onto the path of spirituality and service. His life of service to poor and needy is an example to follow for all people. It is indeed tragic that today people in the media and other ignorant fellows are mudslinging and throwing brickbats at this greatest of souls. Baba had routinely done innumerable charitable acts (like feeding poor, distributing clothes) that were never reported by the press. when a devotee asked him why he didn’t invite press people to witness these charitable acts, he said when one feeds one’s family, do we invite the press to see it. for baba, all of worlds people was his family. several times, people of various background viciously attacked him and tried to defame him. He never retaliated against them through “press conferences” or ” scripted replies” etc. he considered everyone as his own only. He let people derive whatever joy or benefit they got through their love or hate for him. He only loved all and served all. But like Amarjit Singh said, beware the law of karma which will spare none.

Sai Arjun you have written an excellent article. However I think word orthodox used is not appropriate. Hinduism is all embracing. Hindus pray for all, ” Loka samastha sukhino Bhawantu'” etc. There is no doubt that Indians calling themselves secularists are doing the greatest diservice to the nation and Humanity. Politicians for the sake of petty vote bank are doing everything( including spreading Communalism) that goes against Hinduism in the name of secularism to please. not only minorities but also the secularists. India stands divided despite best intentions of our Constitution. Just imagine what will be the fate of Hindus propagating unity of religions after the “communal Harmony” bill expected to be introduced in the parliament shortly is passed. Any one singing the Glory of Ram and Rahim /Allah) will be arrested on simple complain and punished for creating disharmony amongst religions. While Ram Dev and Sri Sathya Sai Baba who have done unprecedented work for the Humanity suffer, Hussain will be praised and probably awarded Bharat Ratna in near future for denigrating Hindu Gods and Goddesses for the sake of Art and secularism. Every right thinking Indian has to rise today or the future may be too dark.

Weren’t you all wondering,why no media is speaking now of the 10 crore caught initially from a Sai trust worker in a bus(which was a headline news from all media for 2 days) but speaking only about the now famous 35 lakhs seizure from sai trust(after all 10c is a bigger amount?).Well the answer is here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/saibabanews/message/43153 ,the event of 10 cr. seizure never took place,yes it was not an exaggeration or modification of a story,but a totally cooked up imaginative one from the media there was no person with 10 cr. from sai trust travelling in a bus and so he wasn’t caught by police too!!When the police denied such a event took place media took care not to publish the denial and they gave this news a quiet burial.This one event summarizes the nature of the media.And wait 35lakh caught from a sai trust vehicle, now it emerges the vehicle never belonged to sai trust!!!

is a phony email address which bounces back. Why do people like this feel the need to lie about crimes which in reality have not been committed? No person has EVER filed a police report against Sai Baba. However, many of these anti-Sais do have documented nefarious backgrounds and/or criminal records. Some of them have even been sued for their slanderous attacks.
I sincerely feel that all of us who feel that Arjun has done a good job here in this article should articulate our own feelings and put them up in our blogsites. We should open the eyes of the world to the good that is being done… in one of his conversations Bhagawan has said, “One cannot fight bad thoughts, the more you fight it the greater energy it gains because you are giving it attention. The best way to counter bad thoughts is to ignore them and focus on generating good thoughts. More and more good thoughts. Thoughts are like seeds. If they are buried under too much soil, they rot and die. Likewise, bury bad thoughts under a deluge of good thoughts.”
This applies to us now. We need to fill the world with good thoughts, feelings and words. Our articles should outnumber the slanderous, evil propaganda spread by irresponsible media. There are some sections of the same media that are endeavoring to be unbiased and sincere. We need to do our bit. Lets see if we can put our good thoughts into words and share them with the world. It is obvious from this discussion that there are many of us who think alike. A synergy of goodness and goodwill can make a world of difference.
The congress government is a government of contractors. Their actions speak for themselves. What Satya Sai and Baba Ramdev have accomplished through their concept of SEVA – “Service to man is service to god”- is not possible for the Congress party to comprehend. If we ask ourselves as to who is the PM of India we know that it is not Manmohan. Most of the centrally sponsored schemes are named after one family. The congress party has continued to follow this path even to this day.

Brilliant piece of writing from Sai Arjun and Duart Mclean hit the nail on the head. I am South African of Indian descent. I have had the good fortune of visiting India on 2 occasions – my family and I are very passionate about Indian culture and tradition. We were awestruck at the transformation of what was once a barren little hamlet – Puttaparthi ( all thanks to the inspiring of work of Sai Baba). Poverty stricken people now have access to schools, clinics, universities, water and people are able earn a decent livelihood and the same time have not forgotten their ancient culture, values and heritage. Recently on our visit it was heartsore and a comical sight to see how Indian youth are throwing away their treasured culture and apeing the western culture. Yet many westerners acknowledge the richness and value of India culture. Many foreigners come to India seeking the wisdom that Mother India throughout history has proven it is a land of peace, enlightment, tolerance and discipline. The people of India should treasure these jewels, which they possess of which many people around the world come all the to India searching this wisdom. People stop critising and savour what this great land – Mother India has been blessed with. We hope and pray that this beautiful land will be restored to it former Glory.
We all are aware now about the Press release issued by Sri sathya sai Trust. All critics and media should be ashamed of their nefarious acts. Rs 10 crores or so was never ceased and Rs 35 lacs was the amount being taken to Bangalore company constructing Samadhi of Bhagawan sri Sathya Sai Baba by their own staff. Money was collected by Sri Sathya Sai Baba devotees for the construction of Samadhi as Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust has no provision for such expenses. What is wrong in it?
Swami Ramdev has treated and cured thousands of patients suffering from otherwise incurable diseases. He has done wonderful work and made Ayurvedicmedic medicines available in every district and town of India. He deservs to be awared Bharat Ratna and not the humiliation by CBI.

When Swami was reaching His 50th year of advent, then only He made the world to know about Him and His activities in the form of Free Hospital, Free Education, Free Water Supply and so many charitable services. I dont want to say anything in detail on the medias – Newspapers as well as T V Channels – because Swami has told us many times, that the media people live only in gutters and if we also stoop to their level, where is the difference? Swami has also compared the media people to street dogs. The dogs, when one starts barking, all will start, because it is the natural of an animal which lives on instinct in any thing. Why cant you take out a print of your news and the replies received and send it to the press and media or write to them to go over such write ups. I wonder if anybody had gone to Puttaparthi when Bhagwan was alive in Human form.
