Congress Leader Digvijaya Singh Promotes Christian Extremist Propaganda Filled with Hinduphobic Bigotry and Intolerance
Arab-American Christian Activist Theodore Shoebat has posted a series of blogs and articles railing against Hinduism, suggesting it is Satanic. The extremist activist and blogger also said if he was a dictator he would invade India and force all Hindus to convert to Christianity just like Portuguese Christians did during the 1500s where thousands of Hindus were tortured and killed, while tens of thousands were forced to convert from Hinduism to Christianity. Religious conversions has always been a sensitive topic in India with a growing number of Christian missionaries using monetary incentives and propaganda demonizing native Hindu cultures to entice new converts.
Mr.Shoebat then said “You need to Christianize the land,”. “We need to destroy these false religions, end of story. Hinduism is an evil, demonic, anti-Christ religion. It needs to be uprooted from the earth and it has no place in the World.” Shoebat then put his attention on Yoga, which originated from Hinduism. He began by saying, “And anyone who teaches yoga? Punished by the state … I think the U.S. government needs to crack down on this evil, demonic thing called yoga … You’re teaching yoga, have the SWAT team bust open the doors to that place and just arrest everybody.”
India currently has a population of over 1 billion and 80% practice Hinduism that strongly follows a culture of pluralism and respect. Hinduism is known as the oldest religion in the World with no single founder like most other religions, helping it to constantly evolve. It is also considered a cultural way of life vs. a theocratic religion that supports LGBTs, animal rights and a vegetarian diet.
Making this hate-filled and Hinduphobic rant more dramatic, an Indian politician Digvijaya Singh promoted a Hinduphobic post on Shoebat’s fringe blog blaming all Hindus for the problems faced by Christians. Digvijaya Singh is an India MP that belongs to the Congress Party and is also a close aide to the party’s leader Sonia Gandhi. He is also tagged by many human rights critics as an intolerant Ant-Hindu Bigot.

This man is a false christian, and makes me ashamed to call myself Christian. Many Christians want to live in peace, and are not like this man, or the common missionaries you see. This man is deluded, and should be ignored, and intellectually combated. Good luck.
