(CHAKRA) On December 17th a Muharram Tazia parade was organized in Rampurhat by local Muslim groups. Since a permit is needed for all public parades and wasn’t present the police requested the organizers to follow certain routes so that local people do not face any hassle or delay in their daily commute as there was no notification of such a parade. When SDPO intervened and tried to direct the marchers in routes the police approved, the mob turned violent and threatened to kill him. The police force retreated and continued to watch the marchers from a distance.
Participants from the parade began vandalizing Hindu owned stops between Lotus Press Lane and Kamarpatti More. At least 25 shops were looted and several Hindu women molested based on witnesses and police reports. The marchers also destroyed couple of govt owned buses. The procession then advanced to Shangata More where the marchers attacked the Dakshina Kali Mandir. Police witnessed the looting and mayhem from a distance. However, they took no action against the perpetrators.
On December 18th 2010, the local Hindu group known as Rampurhat Babosayi Samiti conducted a protest rally and blocked the state highway between Lotus Press Lane and Kamarpatti More from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. They demanded the culprits be apprehended and police prevent such incidents in future as this was the second large incident in the last 12 months. They also brought up the fact that many Hindus in the area have been attacked multiple times over the last few months by Muslim extremists from Bagtui village. In 2009, they attacked the Durga puja immersion procession near Mahajanpatti. A few witnesses we interviewed stated that they have been living in constant fear and refrain from wearing religious Hindu symbols in public such as a ‘bindi’ (a red dot worn by many Hindu women on their forehead).
As a result of continuing attacks and harassments, a large number of Hindu families have already left the area. Some local community leader’s estimate that 500 Hindus or 1% of the city’s population have moved to neighbouring villages over the last 12 months.

Not surprising at all. Given the present scenario of vote bank politics in West Bengal, every political party is clamouring for Muslim appeasement by one tactic or the other. Unfortunately the radical elements in Muslims though a few only but they start the mischief and then give it a sensitive religious colour, only to communalise the issue and leading to involve the larger otherwise so called moderate groups.
This is an old technique used by the Muslim politicians traditionally against the local majority communities all over the world, as the globe size is shrinking. In West Bengal, the ruling party is loosing its ground and the other incumbants are trying and wooing the voters, leading to conflicting vested voter interests.

Deganga,Gangasagar,Mayapur. Is there any hope for Hindus in Bengal and India?
?????? ??????? says
Hindus will again be slaves to the Mohammedans in India and their mothers, sisters, daughters will be taken as concubines for the Muslim warlord’s Harem. Hindus are truly Napunsak. West Bengal is already 25% Muslim, when it crosses the threshold of 40% Hindus will be mass evicted from West Bengal like the Kashmiri Pundits. Awaken and organize Hindus.. If Hindus dont address the Muslim problem in West Bengal NOW, Hindus might as well pack their bags and leave West Bengal. And again today West Bengal, tomorrow India.
Depressing!!!
Dr. O. P. Sudrania says
It is not the West Bengal, Hindus or India alone, if one look at the whole global scenario, the entire human society is at a crossroads of threat for survival. In New York Times recently there was an article stating some stark realities of the entire world. Briefly it said that the globe is oversaturated and overpopulated. This has resulted in the depletion of natural resources and is the chief reason for global warming. The developed nations have to be pragmatic, realistic and benevolent.
I have been also reiiterating it time and again that certain problems like global warming and religious terrorism is the chief and urgent problem for the world leaders to address if they hope to reverse this cataclysmic threat to the entire globe as a whole in this era of IT and the awareness campaign it has generated. It is time for the world bodies to awaken, arise and meet this perilous threat.

If anything, the muslims must be turned back, before they even take one step forward. In Islam, there exists two worlds, a)the house of islam, & b)the world that does not exist under islam. ‘B’ is what they have their eyes on, and NOTHING will stop them. If nothing is done soon, there will be no place for a Hindu, or anyone else to live free.
