Standing up against Corruption is considered a Crime by the Congress Government
Corruption and Crime we have been told is ‘religionless’. But is it really? One would really have to ponder this today because it seems like the biggest criminals who are now obsessively hunted down by the Indian media are not individuals and political parties associated with the recent scams and crimes against India, but rather two very devout “Hindu” gurus- Sri Sathya Sai Baba and Baba Ramdev.
THEIR CRIME:
1) They stand against corruption
2) They uplift the downtrodden of India
3) They provide free services and basic necessities- free water, free education, free health care, etc. to millions of poor.
4) They preserve, protect and propagate the culture and spiritual ethos of India.
5) They provide support and guidance to millions of people
THEIR PUNISHMENT:
1) Maligning their image and stripping their dignity
2) Debasement of all the work they have done so far for India
3) Launching vicious intellectual as well as physical attacks on them and their followers (when they’re asleep for instance)
4) Rendering them slander and defamation on all news channels
Sathya Sai Baba and Ramdev are then perhaps the biggest ‘saffron criminals’ of India because they come from the most traditional and orthodox Hindu backgrounds and have become popular in a land where secularism and western ideals are now worshipped and cherished more than one’s own true cultural identity, especially in the Indian media which tries to portray itself as objective, secular and modern and presents the Hindu gurus as backward and corrupt.
Founder of FACT India, Francois Gautier stated- “Nowadays, the greatest adversaries of an ‘Indianised and spiritualised education’ are the descendents of the ‘Brown Sahibs’- the ‘secular’ politicians, the journalists, the top bureaucrats, in fact the whole westernised cream of India. And what is even more paradoxical, is that most of them are Hindus! It is they, who upon getting independence, have denied India its true identity and borrowed blindly from the British education system, without trying to adapt it to the unique Indian mentality and psychology… And what India is getting from this education is a youth which apes the West… They will grow-up like millions of other western clones in the developing world, who wear a tie, read the New York Times and swear by liberalism and secularism to save their countries from doom. In time, they will reach elevated positions and write books and articles which make fun of India, they will preside human-right committees, be “secular” high bureaucrats who take the wrong decisions and generally do tremendous harm to India, because it has been programmed in their genes to always run down their own country. In a gist, they will be the ones who are always looking at the West for approval and forever perceive India through the western prism.”
This form of mental slavery emphasized by Gautier is exactly the problem today where the Indian media with its talentless and intellectually impotent breed of journalists now debases Hindu gurus, denigrates Hindu spirituality and indirectly belittles Hinduism and India as a whole. The TV debates they launch are not very different from a collective gathering of neighbours who meet to gossip, discuss their brainless opinions and spread more rumours and falsehood. Recently, CNN IBN (India) aired a show called the “God Industry”, as usual questioning the Hindu gurus- Sathya Sai Baba and Baba Ramdev on the “wealth they have accumulated”. Sagarika Ghose the anchor of the show first provided a limited and one-sided definition of spirituality linking it merely with ‘renunciation of the world’ (which in fact is not the accurate or holistic Hindu worldview) and then asked why these Gurus aren’t renouncing the world but rather enjoying the wealth. She displayed her ignorance of Hindu Dharma firstly by presenting it in a non-hindu template and then went on to judge them based on what? -Her expertise on Hinduism, Hindu Gurus and corruption of course. And better yet, no one specifically asked what the Gurus did with all the wealth that the devotees gave them. How could they ask? It might have led them to find out that Baba Ramdev and Sathya Sai Baba secretly spent all that money on Armani suits, on lavish meals, on extravagant parties, stylish cars, gigantic houses and other business investments that served their personal gain. Perhaps this Saffron Baba duo deserves the biased treatment meted out to them then. After all they can’t be expected to be as pure and infallible as the secular journalists who question them and the corruption-free government that condemns them.
Does Hinduism say that a Guru should renounce the world and walk away from his duties towards society, especially when he can spiritually guide people? Does Hinduism say that possessing money is criminal especially when that money is being used for the betterment of society? Were spiritual gurus like Dronacharya, Chanakya and Samarth Ramdas wrong for participating in the affairs of the state and advancing their nation? If Hinduism doesn’t preach such impractical ideals then what gives authority to the Indian media to suddenly become the expert jury on such matters, that passes judgment on these individuals who have actually served the society in tremendous ways?
We can safely now say that the only thing that the media and journalists have succeeded in exposing is “themselves”. For that we must thank them immensely for the ignorant masses would never have become aware of all the falsehood and lies that is being fed to them every day by this new breed of english-educated ignoramuses.
Moreover, this high-flying elite cult of secular journalists who don’t give news but give views have probably never done anything themselves for the down-trodden that they could ever boast of. Or perhaps the hindu-voice that has become more mobilized and consolidated under Ramdev and Sathya Sai now needs to be shut down by them lest it unleashes more saffron criminals on the society

i.e. linking individual soul with the god head . This is the pristine objective of religion. This is the common thread,be it Hinduism , Islam , Christianity etc. I have witnessed the activities at Puttaparthi for >30yrs. I was attracted to the phenomena called Sathya Sathya Sai Baba who is an embodiment of LOVE & SERVICE. I swear on my Mother ( who is no more ) that neither Baba nor the Sathya Sai Seva Organization ever requested me to donate, even for a TABLET OF CAMPHOR at any time.
Inspired by his teachings , I have participated in number of village service activities voluntarily.
Personally i feel the Trust members , post mahasamadhi of Baba , have not dealt the various emerging issues in the right perspective, respecting the sentiments and devotional attachment to Baba. I personally construe this lackdaisical attitude of them, as nothing more than TOUCHING THE ROCK BOTTOM OF INGRATITUDE to Baba. NO WONDER the 4th ESTATE in our country which has turned out to be a MALIGNANT CANCER TO INDIAN CULTURE & TRADITION relishes a NECROTIC FEED. So let us not blame the Media, which any how is a STILL BIRTH of THE WEST.
At least from now let us pray SAMASTHA LOKAA SUKHINOBHAVANTU, the vedic tradition for which Sri Sathya Sai Baba has remained a LAMP POST in our times.

July 18, 2011 at 3:46 pmI don’t know a great deal about Ram Dev or Sai Baba. I do know that both men have worked tirelessly to alleviate human suffering at many different levels, from material to spiritual. Are they perfect? Do they make mistakes? Who am I to judge?
To attack these men (and by extension any form of Hindu activism), as the westernized, sycophantic Indian media relentlessly does, is barbaric to say the least. The motives of these ‘intellectuals’ are transparent, cheap and self-serving.
What I don’t understand is why India’s great Hindu majority tolerates this. Disinterest and apathy will not make India the great nation she should be. Instead, India will degenerate into just another over-populated, crime infested, elite dominated, environmentally bankrupt, third world cesspool. India! Land of the Veda, Vedanta and 5000 years of enlightened philosophy…wake up!

The majority Hindu population that you see in India is actually divided. The categories include
1. Pseudo-secularists : Those who are ignorant about the India past and Hinduism’s core i.e Veda and Upanishads. They percieve it from the eye of the westerners and the critics.
2. Atheists : Those who think religion is the root cause of all the problem and they rather ride on the western material science. They do not understand a bit about spirituality, consciousness, or the difference between dharma and religion.
3. Emotional ones : Who don’t understand the core of Hinduism, but are emotional about Hinduism in general.
4. Enlightened ones : Who know about the core of Hinduism and want to save it.
The pseudo-seculars and atheists often go by western materialism and setting it as a benchmark for all the happenings in India. For them, earth wasn’t round until western scientists discovered it so. Here comes the catch. Emotional ones and the enlightened ones are the categories who usually know the history better. India was attacked by british and the muslim invaders. Thus when talking about the Indian history it is obvious that the atrocities done by christians and muslims will also be highlighted.
But here comes the mental block. The pseuo seculars and the atheists will think of this exposition of mughal and christian atrocities as “communal agenda” of the hindu fanatics to “belittle” the muslims. These categories are the ones who will oppose more than the muslims when the enlightened ones and emotional ones will voice themselves on Indian history or Hinduism. The situation has been reduced to such an extent that talking about Hinduism is treated as condescending and the person as illiterate.
History in India is written by the leftists and pseudo seculars who still follow Max muller, view everything Indian from western angle rather than Indian and write history as westerners have seen it. Thus, the long debunked Aryan Invasion theory and Dravidian theory are still taught and the christian texts have replaced the vedic and upanishadic ones like Gita. Now the minority appeasing government is hellbent to declare sanskrit as dead language. So the problem is with
1. Vote Bank politics (muslim and christian appeasing who decide their vote in madrassas and churches)
Hindus never form unions or talk even personally in temples. They go, pray and come back without even forming any contacts or setting any agenda.
2. Massive distortion of history for more vote bank politics
3. Distortion in Daily news on English news channels who will not show how Mulsims/Christians are converting Hindus and destroying temples. But these news channels will be wuick to point out any slight mistake done by a Hindu and they’ll call it as “Hindu terrorism” which is again used by the minority appeasing parties like Congress.
Thus its a vicious circle with minority appeasing people in power lying all the times, distorting history, hiding the facts and creating a world which is totally fake and suddenly the Hindus learn that “Mughals were marvellously skilled in arts, music etc and gave so much to India”. NCERT will not show the real reason why Lord Macaulay and Max muller wanted to impose christianity and English, but will rather show that Britishers “gave a gift like English” to India for “literacy”.
Thus, majority of Hindus live in a bubble full of ignorance, lies and deception coming out of which is very impossible. They view Hinduism through abrahamic and the western angle. Hinduism is faced all the brunts now. It cannot face anymore challenges.

The sad part though is today Hindus mainly are responsible for demeaning the Saints and Gurus like Baba Ramdeo, and blindly following the corrupt media (many believe whatever they see on media is the truth), and the corrupt Govts across the world (including that of US and India). The Hindu Spirituality is the way to get out of this maya, and that also is a big thorn in the materialistic worlds ambitions, hence they are all trying to suppress it, and destroy it. But since its the Divine knowledge it has been flowing for 1000s of years, and none of these demons can stop humanity to realize the importance of it, and accepting it.

What has happened now is that we are imitating alien western culture, we have forgot to speak our own mother tongue and some of us are even ashamed to call themselves as hindus. I must admit here like few other commentators that reading the caption, looked as if it is an anti-Babaji article. I think if I am right, I had read it but did not bother to read the article as a whole or even part.
The caption is the life force of any article. If I was to do it, “Baba Ramdev and Sathya Sai Baba – Are they Saffron Criminals?” I notice that a ‘?’ mark has been added at the end. This is not enough because today, there is so much of material that needs attention making it impossible to notice the nuances. Hence it has marred the impact of the genuine intentions, distracting the faithful readers and losing out the readership.
However, your effort is highly lauded. I have repeatedly asked it variously, “Hindus are reduced to “an effective minority” meaning that they have hardly effective say in administration. I stop here with this comment hoping that those who will understand, this hint is more than enough. This has made the Hindu society a bunch of timid cows, they are scared to confront the devil. A situation not easy to counter…???

2. SRI SATHYA SAI IS REGARDED AS AN AVATAR and by some AS A SIDDH PURUSH AT THE LEAST. HE DID NOT AFFILIATE HIMSELF WITH POLITICS. HE NEVER ENCOURAGED EXCHANGE OF MONEY WITHIN THE PREMISES OF THE ASHRAM OR ANY OF HIS OFFICES OR CENTERS. THERE WAS NOTHING SOLD UNDER HIS BANNER-AS HE NEVER HAD ANY ‘BRAND’ PRODUCTS.
3. There is no commercial venture in the SAI organization. There are so many free services like education and food.
4. Baba RAMDEV on the other hand is only a yogi who has political affiliations and sells his brand products. He is a commercial yoga teacher with knowledge in Ayurved.
THE IGNORANT PEOPLE EQUATE PEOPLE BASED ON THE COLOUR OF THE ROBES WORN SO THAT IT IS EASIER FOR THEM TO STEREOTYPE OR LABEL PEOPLE WHO BELONG TO THAT RELIGION.
