about Purusharth, a very simple straight forward analysis is simply a literal analysis of sanskrit word. Purusharth is all efforts made for Purush. And what is Purush? Even Bible says- He made man in His image. Thus imanating from the supreme PURUSH, every human created is a purush. Thus every man is a Purush, and only the efforts made of help and for all men qualify to being called PURUSHARTH.
All efforts made in the interest for and of an individual are called SWARTH.
