Patna, India (CHAKRA)— A project titled “Revival of the Ancient Buddhist Pilgrimage in Bihar” has been an ongoing introduction that the Nava Nalanda Mahavihara University in collaboration with the Department of Youth, art and Culture has been participating in.
The project has two main objectives that the participants are determined to carry out: to take the existing Buddhist pilgrimage to other Buddha influenced areas that are not very familiar with it and secondly to facilitate community-heritage interface.
The main purpose of the project has been in progress by starting an event calendar which was prepared to generate a greater awareness of the Buddhist heritage of Bihar. One of the events being held is a workshop titled “Engaged Buddhism”.
