But if we let, as he has done, the ego dominate then it is to no avail. Without the right spiritual practices any spiritual experience can give the most grotesque unspiritual results. And thats exactly what we have here. His use of lizards, alien elite, and above all conspiracy is a well known updated version of antisemitism. He needs a negative mindset in order to make us feel positive just like the various self-help groups which charge exorbitant fees just to bring on a temporary euphoria. But if it works for you then great.

However, I disagree with the premise that David Icke is one of the doom and gloom lot, or an advocate of the supposed coming apocalypse. Journalists who denigrate him seem to focus on the seemingly outrageous statements he makes about the system, the elite, etc, and have obviously not really listened to his lectures all the way through. At the end of his public lectures, he always goes to the spiritual and ends up on a positive note. I find him very much not doom and gloom and apocalypse minded, but aware of the terrible things going on in the systems of the world, and wanting to make others aware as well. He does an admirable job. I hope the coming inevitable censorship is still a long time in the future.
