Mass Conversions in India – Destroying Cultures and Families

A Tamil advertisement posted by a Church trying to fool uneducated Hindus by claiming that Hinduism is been derived from Christianity (CHAKRA) — Why are so many religious conversions in India going unnoticed?  The majority of the population there is quick to point out that “Hindu Fundamentalists have done….,” or that “The BJP, Hindu Nationalist Party is fanatical,” when such parties bring to attention the problem of forced conversions in the country.  All citizens of India who are influenced by giant media sources such as NDTV and CNN-IBN easily point out the “Hindu fanatics,” but fail to see the growing existence of Christian missionaries throughout the so called secular country.

Christian missionaries come in huge numbers to India, most of who are from the Southern states of the United States.  They enter the country with claims of humanitarian-secular acts to help with compassion, the disadvantaged, poverty-stricken population of India.  However, when examined closely, out of their “compassionate acts” emerge thousands and thousands of new converted Christians.  The disadvantaged populations of India are manipulated and taken advantage of by means of financial support and food as well as guidance towards Jesus through gradual force.  They are given education and put into labelled secular schools with Christian names in which students are fed lines from the bible while they are fed a lunch they previously did not have the means for.

If this is not an act of complete manipulation than what is?  Why is the Indian government allowing such organizations into the country in the first place, especially when their agenda is so clear?  In addition, when a Hindu soul decides to do something about such conniving acts, why is it printed as a first page story on a national news media source titled something in the line of “Hindutva Group Hindering Freedom.”?  As in other countries such as Pakistan or Bangladesh with Muslim majorities, who sustain and fight for their religion, why can’t Hindus do the same for their countries religion without getting criticism from fellow Hindus?  How has a country’s majority, including the government become so blind to such appalling act’s that hinder and take advantage of religious freedom? No one should be forced into following a religion they do not wish to follow.  Instead, in India, thousands and thousands are baptized in masses.  There is literally a mass production of Christians in India, as if they are factory products that need to be re labelled as fast and as efficiently as possible.  Victims are gathered in an area together where a baptizing procession takes place. They line up for the holy bath, quickly poured down on them, and that’s it.  They must now follow the teachings of Jesus.

It is one thing to see such brutal acts but it is another to see it yet do nothing about it.  I as an NRI Indian am truly ashamed to be a part of a country who participates in allowing such amoral acts.  The solution to such a problem can only be devised if Hindus unite and form groups/organizations that fight against conversions in India and help to drive these people out.  It starts first by voting for the party that will support Hindu rights—parties like the BJP.  Such parties are not conservative right winged religion Hindu parties. Even though they have been titled as the Hindu Nationalist party, their views are very liberal and in line with the secular perspective.  However, they strive to protect the rights of the majority of India because they see the risk and threat there is to this majority.  People must act together and not be fooled by the headlines of mass media but rather question them and analyze them with true facts and personal experiences.  Believe it or not, one’s own experience can help a lot in understanding such headlines.  If you do not see or face what is claimed in anti-Hindu media, then there is a high chance that the facts are bogus.  Experiences, one’s surroundings and knowledge are key to understand the injustices that the Indian government is currently taking part in, by allowing such missionary groups into India.  The effects need to be examined and we need to be aware of the consequences for India as a country in the future.

All the Hindu religious leaders should come together and form an allianc to defend the Hindu culture
and the religino. They should fight as a united body to protect and defend Hindu culture. A conversation
of one Hindu to other religion should be considerd as attack on all. We should proted to as a unted body to the government and demand some action to ban the conversation ( just like the Muslims do ) We should also encourage the Hindus not to support and vote for Congress or any other party which does not support Hindu coulture and the religion.

  3. Varun says

Let your voting do the talking. I would urge every Hindu to vote for the BJP for this very reason. Also, for those who can afford it, give to Hindu charitable organizations that operate in India to alleviate poverty and educate the poor. It is important to bring this issue to the forefront but talking alone will do nothing. Even small charitable donations can go a long way in countering these deceptive missionaries and their hidden agendas.

  4. Mohammed Abdullah says

I am very sorry to hear about these people being deceived to convert to Christianity.
Before converting, it is important to know some facts.

    1. Jesus Christ never existed. The authors of the Bible, claiming to be his disciples who
knew him personally, do not even know his name! JEsUs means a JEU = JEW, a Jew, any Jew.
Over a hundred books have been written by famous white Europeans and Americans
showing that the Jesus story is a fraud.

    See: http://www.jesusneverexisted.com

    2. The Bible (especially the Old Testament) is full of violence, barbarity, criminality,
    pedophilia and incest. See:

  5. Nakshatra B says

Since many of these people being converted are lured in by money or promises of a better life, are there projects being set up by Hindu-based organizations to provide assistance to the poor?

  6. Ashu says

@Nakshatra Hindus are mostly divided among various gurus and sectors (ISKON, SwamiNarayan or local temples) and therefore there are very few nation/worldwide organizations that fight for the common person being exploited.

Currently in india, in the last 20 years…a few churches have popped up in even the most remote villages which are 100% hindu. For people that don’t know the difference between any religion and feel all religions are ‘one’ then they will of course give it a try as they go daily to temple. The issue lies when they’ve visited for a while and they become fed with propaganda against their culture and religious practices while being caught off-guard as they never experienced such mentality of division before.

  7. Nakshatra B says

@Ashu I know about the current situation. Many of the people who are forcefully converted originally get lured in by the promise of a better life than the poverty that they currently face. My question is if there are Hindu-based, or at the very least secular-based, organizations in India that are working to improve the lives of the poor so they don’t get duped by these missionaries? Or do we think that complaining about the situation is going to make things any better for people?

  8. Indian Kerala Jacobite Christian says

Time you idol worshiping scum eventually come to the senses and worship the one God. Rather Christian missionaries came, with bible and food to your “neglected Hindu brethren ” than Muslims come with swords. Which one do you prefer? The days of your dark demonic gods, idols, witchcraft, satan worship is coming to an end. God commands all men to repent in all nations, and worship Him alone. One God, one Humanity. No need for multiple gods, multiple castes, multiple systems, where human beings are treated like animals. Hinduism will eventually consign itself to the dustbin of history. I invite you to come to Christ, and accept the living God and save yourself from the hell that is preserved for worshipers of demons and idols like you.

  9. A Christian says

Christianity did not destroy Indian culture instead it has purified the culture

  10. Amit says

@Indian Kerala Jacobite Christian- your jesus sounds like some mafia to me…..you converts are deranged and hilarious…..and yeah about 1 lord ??i would rather piss on you stupid convert than ever acept your mafia boss as the 1 ha -ha fucktards

  11. Hindu says

I don’t know how can these bull shit people say that hinduism is going to get to end.
Do i need to remind these ass holes that Hinduism was there even before their god was even born. Hindu Vedas which were written atleast 10000 years ago already had the information of most of the scientific advances that we are experiencing today. Hindus had correctly measured the distance between earth and sun and time of rotation to 0.00001 of a minute. What do you talk of ? There is profound evidence that christianity has been influences by hinuism and buddhism. Study your facts before posting irrelevant posts. Hindus had, have and will survive till the very last day on our mother earth.

One useful post about hinduism and india:

  12. Hinhuism says

Dont take tension every one.Christanity and other religion is not is not a big issue. The problem is islam its a is full of violence, barbarity, and incest.

  13. Pradyumna says

Sexual perverts are in the guise of bishops and christian priests. Beware! O Hindu brethren. When you find a missionary, remember that you have 2 chappals.

  14. Indian Kerala Hindu says

@Indian Kerala Jacobite Christian – I would like you to note few points

    1. Hindiusm is not an organised religion like christianity where people are thought that whatever is written in Bible is only true and rest all false. People like you are like frogs in the well. And this is the reason why you people are not ready to accept other religions.

2.From your writing it is pretty clear that you know nothing about Hinduism. If you had gone through vedas/upanishads/Bhagavad Gita , u will come to know that as per hindu philosophy there is only one creater ‘brahmam’

3.If christianity was the true religion, why is it a total failure in the west ? I had been to US and all churches are pretty empty !!! I had a chat with few colleagues and found that they are Atheists !!!

Finally dont allow me to speak more about the plays between Fathers and Mothers (The gent and lady priests in churches) in kerala :)

I just want to say to people like you that “GIVE AND TAKE RESPECT”. Come outside of the well and see the beauty of religions around you !!!

  15. kaushal dwivedi says

i wil not say many more about christians.
What they wil say when there jesus were killed by kings had no respect. They claims that jesus is great bt in india till the father of many jesus r present. If i wil get chance then no missionary wil exist .

  16. An Indian more than a Hindu says

I shall point out 3 points

No1: Lets talk about St Francis & St George. They went through a phase of violence (which Christ did not preach, thats what we believe) which is true because the words from John Paul II are more than enough to explain the violence.
On 13th March 2000, John Paul II apologized for 2,000 years of violence, persecution and blunders committed by the Roman Catholic church and asked forgiveness for sins committed against Jews, heretics, women, Gypsies and native peoples. Also we have heard about fabrication of bible, Christ was a disciple of a rishi in Kashmir so on so on…but I shall not comment on it because these are allegations and not proven.

No:2 Whatever written about conversions is true. It is happening. But it is not explained why this is happening. A large cause could be the existing caste system (Kerala could be exempted, I presume) in most of the states in India.

Now as these caste situations are prevailing it is easy for Christian missionaries to find converts.

So shall we first fight the demon among ourselves prior to fighting conversions?

    No3: Discrimination in Christianity
Pope John Paul II also criticized the caste discrimination in the Roman Catholic Church in India when addressing the bishops of Madras, Mylapore, Madurai, Cuddalore, and Puducherry in late 2003. He went on to say: “It is the Church’s obligation to work unceasingly to change hearts, helping all people to see every human being as a child of God, a brother or sister of Christ, and therefore a member of our own family”

Indian law does not provide benefits for “Dalit Christians”, however Christians have been agitating for the same rights given to Hindu, Buddhist, and Sikh Scheduled castes. Despite the activists point of discrimination due to social tag or status, which doesn’t go away, Justice K. G. Balakrishnan asked: “Could the Christians admit that they practise caste system and that Dalits (among them) face social discrimination requiring reservation to uplift their cause? This is not all that easy.”

Caste discrimination is strongest among Christians in South India and is weak or even nonexistent among urban Protestant congregations in North India. This is due to the fact that in South India, whole castes converted en masse to the religion, leaving members of different castes to compete in ways parallel to Hindus of the Indian caste system
There are separate seats, separate communion cups, burial grounds, and churches for members of the lower castes, especially in the Roman Catholic Church. Catholic churches in India are largely controlled by upper caste Priests and nuns. Presently in India, more than 70% of Catholics are Dalits, but the higher caste Catholics (30% by estimates) control 90% of the Catholic churches administrative jobs. Out of the 156 catholic bishops, only 6 are from lower castes.

  17. amar says

all hindu must joint active guru/dharma groups like asaramji, ramdevji, ravishankarji etc. So our dharma will be strong.nothing can strenthen dharma any temple. We must strongly follow the such gurus and save our dharma.

  18. Manikandan says

    @indiankerala jacobite christian

First you unite yourself how many divisions are are there in your religion? first you save your sisters and mothers from those sex hungered fathers in Churches, you know Abhaya and how many abhayas are there find out,

  19. amar says

The largest group of hindu follower is of sri Asharamji bapu. The bigest efort of strethen of hindu dharma is done and doing by bapuji. The event held eveyday and he traveling continusly in so old age.The anti hindu group(media+cristian+secu)made high eforts to down the image and moral of this largest spritual orgnisation. We all must unite and join to support our dharma.

  20. Jareena says

Religion is a way of life and reaching God it’s eventual destination. Humanity is the only way to feel closer to God! You know of God, whatever be the belief only as a human being. Why must there be conversion of a human being? Promoting a religion and converting people to your own belief and then offering help is not an act any religion could advocate!! It is a wrong act in the name of God by the missionaries(wrongly referred) to propagate their belief and numbers!

  21. Rudolf says

These christian missionaries are like a plague, a disease that devours the victim.

Most of these missionary thugs are sex perverts par excellence, rapists scum who prey on young children, homosexual perverts who abuse young boys.

This religion is one of the most evil and perverted in the world. It has destroyed many cultures like, ones found in Greece, Asia minor, the inca civilization, Red indians of Americas.

In India too these christian fundamentalist hoodlums tried to destroy the local culture, but it looks like these evil demons are succeeding thanks partly to that italian witch sitting in New Delhi.

  22. balli Singh dhillon says

christianity is a plague affecting all the religions……
They creep into our system eating us away from inside,
    these are the new threats…..
The akali dal,Bajrang Dal,RSS,BJP are going limp and impotent on these issues because they
have the power of western sponsored media behind them,
if not kept in check…..these Missionaries will devour our culture

  23. ashmit czar kumar says

After reading this post and the consequent comments. Judging from the ill thought out, but well articulated arguments – the scenario looks even gloomier as it appears that even supposedly educated Indians (including the author, an NRI) harbor such opinions.

My mother is a Christian, who married my father – a Hindu. I have several Muslim friends. I am a practicing Christian. And i’m dating a Sikh girl. My family is only a small symbol of the larger melting pot that is – India. Our country has welcomed ideas and beliefs from across the world for thousands of years.

Does it matter if I pray to Jesus, and my father to Lord Hanuman? Despite praying to different Gods, my father has taught me respect, honor, honesty, courage and truthfulness. And that is what every religion preaches. No religion advocates for rape, murder, pillaging. A scandalous interpretation of holy texts is what corrupts actions and thoughts.

I see people, who reek of insecurity, defending their respective religions. You all speak as if you had any choice in following a religion. We were told to follow a certain ideology by our parents, and we simply have been toeing that line. Not having made a decision for yourself, what gives you the right to challenge others’ decision when it comes to faith?

You speak of mass conversions as if the missionaries were a firing squad. Don’t insult those changing their faiths, by questioning their intelligence. They, unlike most of us, are exercising a decision and taking a call for themselves who they want to follow – and not just because they were told to do so.

All religions have their failings. The church has been responsible for mass killings. Hinduism promoted a debilitating disease known as caste system. Islam, or rather a corrupted interpretation of Islam, has left us with terrorism. Let’s not point fingers.

Religion is a deeply personal and intimate aspect of life. Why bring personal choices of people into public discourse?

India derives its unique identity from being able to accommodate diverse views and serving up a tantalizing concoction. And invariably, as a fallout, it also allows for communal and fundamental voices – as is evident from this shameful post.

In the end I take comfort from the fact that despite the downright wretched thoughts and suggestions put forth, saner minds have prevailed. A large chunk of population has come to understand the irrelevance and inconsistencies of such corrupted thoughts. Indian has tolerated such ludicrous ideas, to emerge as a healthy, strong democracy that aspires to lead. Development is the currency of the future, and most Indians have embraced this truth.

India is so much bigger than just one religion.

  24. Sundar says

First of all we must understand the fundemental things

Christianity & Islam are two sides of the same coin. Both of them teaches, profess and propogate one and the same thing but in different forms & ways

  25. True Indian says

why couldn’t ashmit czar kumar have become a Hindu as his father? this itself shows how christianity cunningly gets innocent Hindus into its clutching folds. nobody in his right senses willingly converts to christianity or islam.

  26. Sundasr says

The real meaning of Christianity is nothing but CHEATINITY. There is also one more meaning “CORRUPTIONITY”. Christianity is nothing but a Marketing Group. People are Brain Washed and made to accept that it is the WHITES who are their masters. The amount spent for conversion is nothing but peanuts. People who go to the Church contribute huge sums. After conversion in the Weekly Mass, Congregations, Convocations, Conventions, etc., etc., etc., the collections ranges anywhere from Rs.1 Laks to 1 Crore per day. People are brain washed to part off from 1/10th to 1/3rd of their incomes to the Chruch. Percentages of these collections will be shared with their masters (higher Pastors). See the lavishness the Father (Pastors / Bishops / Brothers / etc) live, you will be astonished. The Church run schools, institutions, Orphanages are nothing but BROTHELS. Read the book written by Sister Jesme, you will understand all these. The real intention of the Christian Missionaries is to make a huge income from the innocents and ignorants in India by just CHEATING. They want the poor and the down trodden to remain as the same only then their business will run well. They can show the photographs, vedios and film shows in which if you have a close look, you will find these people will be remaining as down trodden only, whereas these Pastors will be with neat dress, high fi colors and will be leading a lavish life. This is exactly the agenda of the Christian Missionaries

  27. kaleemulla mohamedali says

Faith is embedded in heart and mind, flowers, fire, words are to fool others. In Hinduism no one can be converted to high caste BRAHMAN, they are converted as low cast SHUDRA.

MANUSMRITI says: No collection of wealth to be made by Shudra even though he may be able to do it. Brahmin can take Shudra’s property by force. (Manusmriti X,129).

Brahman can have 4 wives, Kshatriya can have 3 wives , Vaishnava can have 2 wives, Shudra cant have more than 1. (Aitreya Veda, Brahma VIII, 29 page 201).

The tongue of Shudra who spoke evil about Brahman should be cut off (Apastamba Dharma Sutra II/10-26.

Those who are with stinking conduct they will enter a stinking womb, either the womb of a dog or the womb of a swine or womb of Shudra (Chandogya Upanishad 5-10-7)

Shudras must be prohibited from hearing, studying Vedas (Brahma Sutras 1.3.9.38)

More on google Why Dr.Ambedkar burnt Manusmriti.

Due to Brahmins discrimination of Shudra Hindus converted in 550Bc to Jainism, in 500Bc to Budhism, 712Ad to 1700 to Islam and after British rule to Christianity.? Budhism was born in India but Brahmans stamped it out of India. From Sri Lanka to Japan Budhism spread but Hinduism was confined to India and its borders.
