(CHAKRA) Yoga, an exercise meant for calming ones sense of being to reach inner peace, has recently been disapproved by a Vatican Priest who claims that Yoga is a work of the devil.
The chief exorcist of the Vatican, Father Gabriele Amorth who is 86-years-old said he has cleansed hundreds of people from evil spirits. He further stated that the stretching act of yoga is Satanic because it originates from the religion of Hinduism and it’s false belief in reincarnation. He even compared the act of yoga with black magic in Harry Potter.
Charles Crenshaw, an instructor of yoga for 22 years, was devastated by the exorcist’s statement saying that such sentiments have become more common then they should be. Crenshaw shared his belief that such statements are being made to create fear in public, especially in those who place the Vatican close to their hearts.
Crenshaw said that individuals like Father Gabriele Amorth are too focused on finding the differences between people and cultures instead of embracing humanity’s common traits.

In my opinion, everyone should be at one’s full liberty to make a statement, if one feels like doing so; but then he/she should further take the responsibility of extending the discussion further in a democratic and a scientific way.
The priest said like this probably because he has informed himself that yoga awakens the kundalini-shakti that has the form of a snake (the catholic sect said that Satan took the form of a snake to make fall down Adam through Eve)
I feel compassion for this priest having so much fear and lack of understanding for the life force that yoga is a part of. Also, he has not studied deeply enough or he would know that at the 2nd or 3rd council of Constantinople, Pope Pious eradicated the teaching of reincarnation from the Catholic doctrine. Also he would know that Jesus himself spent time in India studying with the great yogic masters. All of this information is in the vaults of the Vatican. Modern day Christian religious doctrines bear little resemblance to the mystic traditions that Christ was a part of. This priest, heaven help him, is only showing his ignorance and, sadly, his lack of true Christian understanding and acceptance. The snake has been turned into a Christian symbol of evil because the early Christian fathers looked for ways to control the masses, demonifying much of the wisdom and many of the symbols that liberated people. Pathetic really.
The Catholic priest should spend time on driving the Devil ( of sexual exploitation of young boys by catholic priests) out of his own church rather than seeing the Devil where there’s none.

Even mediation and Yoga are from ancient india, they are very popular and adapted throughout the world… Just think about it where the credit goes?

And I think they are afraid of spreading Hinduism in their own country….which they hate alot… Let me tell you briefly…
If foreigners do yoga and mediation obviously they will get good and great results and there will be a lot of change in their life…. Each and everyone will preach good and do good to mankind. And there is no doubt one day they tend to or start adapting HINDUISM…..
THATS WHY THEY ARE AFRAID AND THEY DONT DIGEST THE TRUTH THAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN IN FUTURE………

Yoga postures, though not exactly the same as in India, but maintained for hours long as yoga prescribes, with breath and thought control, were of paramount importance in early Christian asceticism. This fly sodomizing priest is inspired by the Lord of the Lies, he does the very same thing bad Indian gurus do when they condemn all yoga except theirs. Before going to hell he will end up pretty soon associating with such false Indian gurus.
